Let’s celebrate Midsummer Day festival (Joninės in Lithuanian) in hidden hamlet – the secret place near Vilnius, where a unique celebration is organized by the local community.

Lithuania is dotted with numerous spectacular locations, where the Midsummer Day festival is celebrated by small local communities. Many of these festival sites have no advertisements and the only way of finding them is word of mouth. But don’t let that dismay you! The local communities will warmly welcome anyone who wishes to join in.

This year, Baltic Gently invites adventurous souls on a unique Midsummer Festival  journey on a mount located just 25 km from Vilnius. You’ll celebrate alongside locals, experiencing traditional rituals firsthand—visiting wild forest trees, sharing ritual foods, playing games, singing, and making magical wishes. As the sun sets, the bonfire is lit, and the dancing continues until your feet can’t move anymore.

This is the most unique way to celebrate Summer Solstice, allowing each guest to become an important part of the festival and take the center stage together with all the locals.
