NIDA2020. Meeting Photography / International Photography Symposium
43rd time photographers are going to gather by the Baltic Sea coast in Nida to share their experience, impressions and images.
Time of the event: Sept. 8 - Sept. 12, 2020
Places of the event: VAA Nida art colony (E. A. Jonušo str. 3), Curonian Spit history museum (Pamario str. 53), Nida community center (Taikos str. 17) etc.
Lectures, artist talks, workshops, exhibition openings, photo-books and open-air screenings in public spaces will take place during the International Photography Symposium “Nida 2019. Meeting Photography”. A photography competition "Photographing Nida" is organized together with the Nida Culture and Tourism Information Centre. One photographer will be awarded a Neringa Mayor Prize.
Lecturers and artists:
Natalija Arlauskaitė, Agnė Narušytė, Adam Mazur, Ieva Balode, Baltic Analog Lab presentation, Polish Paradise 2020 exhibition and artists talks, presentation of “Women at work” project, Andrej Vasilenko, Rokas Pralgauskas, Valentyn Odnoviun, Jogintė Bučinskaitė, Tadas Kazakevičius, Arturas Valiauga, Visvaldas Morkevičius ir kt.
Workshops with Gintautas Trimakas, Artūras Šeštokas (starts Sept. 7th)
Event is full of creative energy, interesting conversations and new encounters. Worth to try!

IMPORTANT! After your arrival please come to Nida community center (Taikos str. 17) to collect your participant accreditation. Tuesday (Sept. 8) 11.00 a.m.-5.00 p.m., Wednesday (Sept. 11) all day at Nida community center or at VAA Nida Art Colony (E. A. Jonušo str. 3). If you come later come to the info-center. Working schedule will be announced later.
Status of participant gives you a right to participate in all events: Lectures, artist talks, exhibition openings, photo-books and open-air screenings in public spaces, opening/closing parties. In marked cafes and restaurants you will get discounts (have a bracelet)
