WINTER OF WOLVES Festival

WINTER OF WOLVES 8 Festival Will Breathe The Fire of Dark Music!

The heavyweight Vilnius-based metal music festival Winter of Wolves is preparing for a winter gathering. The festival will take place on January 27th, 2024 at “Kablys” culture venue.

Born in the capital of Vilnius in 2011, WINTER OF WOLVES extreme music festival is a relative to the long-standing KILKIM ŽAIBU festival. The event will greet the heaviest music lovers for the 8th time.

The winter metal festival WINTER OF WOLVES is holding the raised plan and planning an especially dark programme. The festival will take place in two halls: one will thunder with the concert programme, while the other will showcase KILKIM ŽAIBU video projections. For the audience’s convenience, an additional “Dundulis” bar will be set up and the spacious premises will be divided to avoid larger jams and lines.

We can happily announce the first festival’s band – the Irish metal pride PRIMORDIAL!

Tens of thousands of people raise their hands to the sky at PRIMORDIAL concerts. Inspired by their land’s old legends and the greatness and mystique of nature untouched by man, the tireless sons of Irish lands pay their respects to the old celtic gods for three decades now.

Unlimited by boundaries of a certain genre, this team is known for its specific sound that is easy to recognize among thousands of other bands, which is quite rare on the modern stage. Instead of following in the footsteps of some 'authority', using clichés and the same topics or getting astray from their roots, the band has created their own sound and genre. 'We never wanted to create a band with a sound similar to previous music or simply mimic our musical heroes. All that we want to do is take something from our dark history, our Irish culture, which is bloody and cruel, and turn that into music.' said Alan Averill, leader of PRIMORDIAL.

More intriguing names – coming soon.
