MINISTRY OF ECHOLOGY - MIXED FEELINGS

Reggae has always been a big thing in the Baltic nation of Lithuania. It’s possible that the dark winters inspire Lithuanians to create sunny, Jamaican vibes. Whatever the reason, Ministry of Echology are the flagbearers of the movement, a supergroup formed in 2009 from the best reggae instrumentalists in the capital city, backing up two perfectly-matched female vocalists.

Never afraid to confront politics, the girls dem sing about social issues along with their stories of love and life in Vilnius. Like all good reggae, their message is universal and understandable in any language.

With many tours and two hit albums (“Notes & Quotes” and “Wanderer”) behind them, Ministry of Echology have switched up the lineup and even swapped instruments, creating a new pure and authentic sound for the third album “Mixed Feelings”.

The new album was recorded in various cultural centres and rehearsal spaces around the Vilnius city to capture the band’s spirit, as well as their sound. The album is being mixed and mastered in Naples, Italy.

Spreading strictly positive vibes worldwide and smacking the delay pedal at all the right times, it’s very hard not to smile when you hear this band strike up. So, ladies and gentlemen, let’s have order in the house! All rise for the Ministry of Echology!
