Evening SUP tour 08-11 | goSUP Vilnius
Let’s spend summer evenings with a SUP activity in the Neris river and enjoy the sunset.
The tour starts on Žirmūnai beach. Later, the surroundings of nature and the voices of birds are changed by the images of the city, architectural masterpieces of various periods: Peter and Paul Church, Gediminas Castle Tower, Raduškevičius Palace, National Opera and Ballet Theater, St. the Church of the Apostles Philip and James, modern skyscrapers and other city objects.
This is a great opportunity to admire Vilnius for both locals and guests of the city.
TIME. We start at 19:00, we begin with the instruction, during which you will hear all the necessary information: how to get on the paddleboard correctly, how to paddle, make turns, how to behave when falling off the board, route of the tour, and other important rules of behavior on the water. The briefing takes about 15 minutes, then you will swim. Tour duration: 1 - 1:30 hour (depending on the pace of paddlers).
ROUTE. We meet on Žirmūnai beach (Coordinates 54.723521, 25.310847, link to the map https://goo.gl/maps/5pz4kakwZaR2), and paddle down the river to the White Bridge. We recommend leaving the car at the White Bridge and arriving at Žirmūnai beach by taxi or public transport.
CLOTHING. Dress in a comfortable, sporty outfit that doesn't interfere with getting into the water. Choose clothes according to the weather conditions: if the forecasts promise a cooler evening - dress warmer and wear comfortable footwear (sneakers, for example). We recommend having dry clothes in the car in case you accidentally fall off (chances are very low, but you better be prepared). If you arrive without a car, you will be able to leave your belongings with us and we will transport them safely to the finish point.
PRICE. The price of the evening SUP tour is 17 Eur (the price includes: instruction and all necessary equipment (SUP board, paddle, leash, buoyancy aid). Discounts can be applied to larger groups. For subscription prices and discounts, please contact us by e-mail. email: info@gosup.lt
TICKETS. The purchased ticket is your registration for the tour. Additional registration by email or phone is not required.
In the event of severe adverse weather conditions (storms, thunderstorms, or other dangerous natural phenomena) which may endanger the participants of the event, the event may not take place on time and might be postponed to another date by mutual agreement. In this case, the participants of the tour are informed by personal contact by the telephone number indicated at the time of ticket purchase.
PARTICIPANTS. This tour is open to persons over 13 years of age. with an accompanying adult. We remind you that the accompanying instructor does not paddle together during the evening tour. If you are not sure about your ability to swim independently, we invite you to come to the rowing lessons first (more info: www.gosup.lt).
Persons under the influence of alcohol or other substances are not allowed to participate in the tour. The organizers reserve the right not to provide the service to intoxicated persons and not to refund the money paid for the ticket.
If the event takes place, but the customer does not come to the event and does not contact the administration on the ticket due to his / her absence at least 24h prior to the event, the money paid for the ticket will not be refunded. The purchased ticket is valid only for a certain date, written on the ticket.
