WINE + DESSERT Championship – DVARO Grand Prix 2025

Event Description

On October 27, we will gather for 15th anniversary at a unique event – the Lithuanian Wine and Dessert Pairing Championship WINE + DESSERT – DVARO Grand Prix!

A unique championship deserves a unique venue. This year, the event returns to the Dūmų fabrikas, Dūmų St. 5, Vilnius.

SPECTATORS

The event is open to all lovers and promoters of gourmet culture.

During the event, you will be able to taste a variety of sweet wines presented by the event’s partners, while the main sponsor DVARO will treat the audience to desserts created exclusively for the championship.

You will also get to watch as the best Lithuanian chefs prepare desserts right before your eyes, evaluated by a professional jury. Quite often, spectators even get a chance to taste the competition pairings themselves!

GOAL

The project’s goal is to encourage cooperation and creativity between chefs and wine experts, to promote dessert culture, and to reduce the stigma surrounding all things sweet.

 

The desserts presented at the championship often find their way onto the menus of the country’s top restaurants, available for tasting throughout the year, while the winners’ lists are covered by the media and online.
