What do people do? #10 Vilnius

Welcome to "What do people do?" (previously "Ką darai, daryk gerai") - a monthly creative conference in Vilnius & Kaunas! Fuelled by vulnerability these are refreshing story nights about creative life and unconventional work told by the movers and shakers of our generation.

Together with speakers, we ask what to do to turn passion projects into a successful career. Life is made out of small steps, and the speakers dare to share even the toughest lessons they had to learn.

Come along, grab a drink and get inspired to do more and live differently!

Time & Date: October 1st. Doors open at 6pm; talks kick off at 7pm.

Speakers:

Neringa Rekašiūtė: a photographer and human rights activist. She has won numerous awards and has been published by The Guardian, The Huffington Post, Dazed&Confused, Vanity Fair Italia and many more. What was her beginning like? What mistakes has she made and what are her learnings? Neringa promised to be as vulnerable and real as humanly possible!

Nidas Kiuberis: co-founder of Caffeine. While Caffeine is booming, and opening new cafes all around the Baltics, it's beginning was very different. Nidas had to take out a huge loan, risking to lose his only home (forgot to mention the fact to his wife), and almost lost everything - remember those were the times when take-out coffee culture didn't exist and the only coffee most of us had ever tried was Jacob's green edition.

Giedrius Širka: The lead singer of Golden Parazyth. Giedrius spends his days writing music and lives surrounded by nature, deep in the Lithuanian forests. We ask why he chose a life far away from the city and what has he discovered about being human?

It's going to be a night to remember!
