Four years in, Elastica continues to do what it was built for – a safe space, long nights, careful curation, and trust in sound over noise. A crossroads of local currents and the international scene, it has become a boiling pot of the Vilnius underground, and the fourth birthday is no exception.
Castro and Nemo, the co-founders of SOUND METAPHORS, are coming to prove this point. Known for their record store, label, and distribution hub – and widely regarded as a true underground music institution – they are serious diggers who prefer long, narrative DJ sets and stand firmly behind vinyl culture. Expect fewer bangers, more storytelling, and just as much dancing.
The local scene is represented by Marija Paškevič, an active DJ and producer, and Mindaugas Urbaitis, one of the most respected Lithuanian composers. Together, they bring ACID CITY to ELASTICA's dungeons, reimagining one of the earliest local electronic performance projects.
