Work is not everything

And it shouldn't be.

We got bored of success stories, or stories about what it takes to "make it". Career. Goals. Money.

Our generation’s relationship with work is fucked up.

Yet, we still want to do jobs that fulfill us. Give us joy. Provide meaning. That's OK. It's the way life should be.

But it shouldn't drive us to a point of madness, anxiety, burnout and constant stress.

That's why we invited speakers who are capable of looking at work from a lot of different angles.

1. Milda Pivoriūtė, a sociologist, wrote some really impressive stuff on how we go to work, have sex, build relationships and what makes us happy (or doesn't). She will share her recent thoughts on stage.

2. In this world of goal achievers, startup owners and creative entrepreneurs Dominyka Mieželytė has no idea what to do next.  She has no clue what kind of work she'd like to do or what her true calling is. Sounds familiar?. So many of us feel this way. Social media and constant comparison doesn't help.

3. Jolita Vaitkute is famous. She makes art out of veggies and she does it really well. We've asked her to come up on stage and talk about mental health, work and what's left behind instagram posts.

4. Gabrielė Vilkickyte has been told she has no musical talent for music since she was a child. Now, her last concert sold out in no time. What it takes to face your fears and politely ask them to stay away whilst you're doing what you really love? No matter what other people think. The issue with people thinking stuff, is that while they do the “thinking”, you can get really busy with the “doing”. It only takes a lot of guts, a tiny bit of craziness and a really wild heart.
