Kaip ir kol kas kasmet, Kala Sound System švenčia gimtadienį, o šiemet jis jau 16-tas, tad ta proga kartu su būriu draugų, Kala kviečia į niekam nežinomų muzikos kūrėjų muzikos pristatymą, padarytų įrašų multiplikavimą, gyvai vyksiantį jų dar neišleistų albumų viršelių kūrimą bei paskui seksiančią popup parodą. Na ir galų gale viso šito veiksmo atšventimą prie garso sistemos diskotekoje! O, taip, išties gausybė ir sunkiai vienu ypu apžiojamas kąsnis, tad, pasmulkinam.
Atmintyje suskambusi, bet realybėje neatrasta frazė iš klasikinio muzikinio filmo, kurį sukūrė graikas Jamaikoje sako - “Everybody wanna make a record”, tad jos įkvėpti ir judam pirmyn!
Ne paslaptis, kad paslaptyje laikantys savo kūrybą kūrėjai* slapta tikisi paleisti savo kūrinius į laisvę visiems išgirsti, bet ne visuomet tam yra galimybės ar numatytas baigtinis taškas, kuomet tai galėtų atsitikti. Gyvi atlikimai bus įrašyti ir vietoje multiplikuojami TAPE KIOSK pagalba, atlikėjos* rinksis jų kūrybai sukurtus vaizdus, kurie vietoje taps jų albumo viršeliu ar viršeliais. Greitai iššoks viso to paroda, o paskui ir DISKOTEKA!

Kala sweet 16! Everybody Wanna Make a Record
As every year, Kala Sound System is celebrating its birthday, and this year it is already the 16th, so to mark the occasion, Kala is inviting a bunch of friends to a presentation of music by unknown artists, the multiplication of their recordings, the live creation of covers for their unreleased albums, and a pop-up exhibition to follow. And finally, a celebration of all this action at the SOUND SYSTEM DISCO! Oh yes, it's a lot to take in at once, so let's break it down.
A phrase from a classic musical film created by a Greek in Jamaica, which has stuck in my memory but has not been discovered in reality, says, "Everybody wanna make a record," so let's be inspired by it and move forward!
It's no secret that creators* who keep their work secret secretly hope to release their creations for everyone to hear, but there isn't always an opportunity or a predetermined end point when this could happen. So, let's create an opportunity for that! On Saturday afternoon, December 27, several unknown creators* will play their music, while invited artists*, which could include you, will create album covers for them*. Before that, of course, those who wish to participate will be invited to creative workshops and opportunities to explore together with BIRUTEBI! The live performances will be recorded and reproduced on site with the help of TAPE KIOSK, and the performers* will select images created for their work, which will become the cover or covers of their albums on the spot. At once there will pop up an exhibition of all this, followed by a DISCO!
