Requirements:
Open to singles and couples. However, participants attending without a partner (singles) will not be able to fully take part in the practical part and will only be able to observe.
Participants are recommended to bring at least 4 lengths of rope. If you don’t have your own ropes, you will be able to use ropes available at the club.
Workshop Description
Learning through experimentation is a valuable part of the rope journey. Still, sometimes learning purely by trial and error can lead to unnecessary mistakes, awkward moments, or avoidable safety issues.
In this workshop, the instructor shares insights and lessons gathered over 10 years of rope practice - the things he wishes he had known when starting out. Through discussion and guided practice, we will explore common challenges, typical beginner mistakes, and practical approaches that can help make your rope journey smoother.
Participants will gain useful tips, perspectives, and tools that can improve both safety and confidence in rope practice. Whether you are just beginning or already have some experience, this workshop aims to support a learning environment that is curious, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone involved.
Instructor
Witchcraft, rigger from Estonia, has been practicing rope for over 10 years, focusing primarily on suspension bondage. Rather than following a specific school, his style can be described as an intuitive fusion, exploring body shapes and physical intensity through rope.
Throughout his journey, he has also performed, taught workshops, and participated in various art projects, films, and live drawing events.
