International Conference ''Potential of Real-World Data in the Baltics''

This two-day conference aims to provide a forum for presenting and discussing real-world data (RWD) research relevant to healthcare systems in the Baltic States. It will focus on RWD infrastructure, create opportunities for better healthcare and suggest policy direction for research across the region.

Abstarct submissions are welcome

Abstract contributions are invited from academia, regulators, policymakers, patient organisations, and industry, covering methodological, applied, and policy-oriented work using RWD. Contributions are not limited to Baltic States and may relate to European or global initiatives and to the use of real-world data in health systems more broadly.

Abstract submission deadline 31 March.

Topics of interest (abstract submissions) 
Abstracts are invited on, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Use of real-world data in regulatory and policy decision-making
  • Real-world evidence for assessment of medicines and health technologies
  • Health data infrastructures and governance in the Baltic and European context
  • Methodological aspects of RWD studies, including transparency and reproducibility
  • Drug utilisation studies and rational use of medicines
  • Patient-centred outcomes and patient involvement in RWD research
  • Equity, diversity, and inequalities in access to health care and medicines
  • Cross-border data use and international collaboration
  • Practical case studies using national registries, claims, or electronic health records
