Naturally, every organizer wants to invite as many visitors to their event as possible. Different advertising and communication tools and channels are used for this purpose. In many cases, partners also contribute to publicity. Which one works best and pays off, are you considering? Take full advantage of the tool and get the answers to these questions based on the statistics.
Where to start?
Create an event
Provide an additional parameter to the event link
Keep track of the event's traffic
Evaluate the most effective tools and channels
You must add an additional tracking parameter at the end of each event URL to track event traffic ?affid=parameter.
An example of a regular link: https://tickets.paysera.com/lt/event/your_event_name,
An example of a reference with an observation parameter: https://tickets.paysera.com/lt/event/your_event_name?affid=newsletter
In order to accurately monitor the effectiveness of a communication channel, we recommend assigning several different parameters to one event, depending on the communication channel, the instrument, or the partner through which the communication is conducted. For example, the parameter may be: ?affid=facebook_event, ?affid=partnerisX etc. You'll see statistics for all the settings you've created by logging in to administration and selecting Reports > Orders.
If one customer visits several different links on the event page, the statistics provided to the organizer will only show the customer's visited page parameter through which he / she purchased the ticket or registered for the event.
Good luck in creating and managing events!
