APL 2025. YOU are The Legend!

This year marks the 22nd APL! Each year, around 100 riders gather for this 7-day enduro adventure, covering 2,000 km off-road along Lithuania's border, celebrating the coronation of King Mindaugas – Lithuania’s Statehood Day. Your bike will struggle in the sand, you will splash through water and get stuck in the mud, pushing forward on rugged border trails, breathing dust on gravel roads, and catching your breath in shady forests... All to stay as close as possible to the national border. Each day will be tough. And you know what? Yes, you do. You’ll still be smiling. The spirit of APL is shaped by teams of happy riders traveling around Lithuania, meeting on the road, and sharing stories around the campfire. YOU are The Legend of APL – and your fellow riders, fueled by the same passion for motorcycles, Lithuania, and adventure. Join us to create history together!

APL welcomes both experienced enduro riders and the new generation of motorcyclists. It’s a great training ground – you will make mistakes, learn, live incredible adventures, and test your endurance. If this is your first APL on your first enduro bike – don’t worry, just start preparing and register!

When?

APL 2025 will take place from June 28 to July 4.

How?

We ride counterclockwise around Lithuania.

Distance?

~300 km per day, totaling ~2,000 km.

Cost?

First 25 participants: €439 (€299 for 1/2 APL). Regular price: €469 (€319 for 1/2 APL). Last-week price: €499 (€339 for 1/2 APL). Passenger (Gravel & Touring APL): €300 (€200 for 1/2 APL)

Where?

June 29, 08:00 – Meeting at Medininkai Castle gates, parking lot near the church.

Accommodation:

Visaginas, Biržai, Būtingė, Rusnė, Vištytis, Zervynos – camping in tents at campgrounds.

Meals:

Breakfast and dinner at campgrounds. Lunch – self-arranged.

Motorcycles

Traditional APL. Adventure/soft/hard enduro bikes. Tires: Off-road (motocross, enduro). Rider: Experienced or determined.

Gravel APL. Any adventure/soft enduro bike (including new models with a 19-inch front wheel). Tires: 50/50 road/gravel. Beginner-friendly.

Touring APL. Open to all types of motorcycles.

All motorcycles must be: Registered, insured, and have a valid technical inspection. Equipped with mirrors.

Teams

All riders will be grouped into teams of 4-6 people. During registration, each rider will choose a role: "Medic" – Must know first aid and wound dressing. "Mechanic" – Knows motorcycle mechanics and can perform repairs. "Leader" – Guides the team, sets the pace, and manages team coordination.

If you have a pre-formed team, all members must enter the same team name in registration.

Choose Your APL: Traditional, Gravel, or Touring

Traditional APL. Challenging off-road adventure, following the route as close as possible to Lithuania’s border. Lots of gravel, deep sand tracks, military training grounds, quarries, and forest off-road trails.

Participation fee: €469 (First 25: €439, Last week: €499). Paid in two parts: €269 (€239 early / €299 last week) at registration, €200 at the start.

4. Border zone permit from the Lithuanian State Border Guard

5. GPS track with the recommended route near the border

6. Official APL 2025 merchandise (T-shirt, stickers, diploma if completed)

Gravel APL. A new format for adventure/soft enduro bikes and those who want a less extreme ride. Stays on gravel roads, avoiding tough off-road sections. Same campsites, scenic routes, and lighter riding experience. Participation fee & inclusions – Same as Traditional APL.

Participation fee: €469 (First 25: €439, Last week: €499). Paid in two parts: €269 (€239 early / €299 last week) at registration, €200 at the start.

Touring APL. More flexible & scenic – each team decides which places to visit and which roads to take. Discover Lithuania’s natural, architectural, and cultural heritage near the border. For all types of motorcycles.

Participation fee: €469 (First 25: €439, Last week: €499). Paid in two parts: €269 (€239 early / €299 last week) at registration, €200 at the start.
