"Sketches": Sewing Machine Sounds Become Music

Imagine a sewing machine whose rhythmic whirring becomes part of the beat of the music. Imagine the echo of the model's footsteps becoming the rhythm that guides the musical march. This is "Sketches", an original and innovative collaboration in which the processes of fashion design and electronic music creation are interwoven into one.

Electronic music creator Leon Somov together together with clothing designer Agne Kuzmickaite creates a unique fashion and music show where fashion becomes music and music becomes a part of fashion. Sounds from the sewing room - from the whistling of the sewing machine to the echoes of the models' steps - become elements of the music.

The name "Sketches" reflects the essence of this project - the works of creators are presented from the very initial stages, i.e. sketches. Leon captures natural sounds and transforms them into music that he will perform live, while Agnes presents her latest collection, for which this music becomes the general atmosphere.

It is a creative conversation between two artists, resulting in a lively and dynamic show that presents both fashion and music fans with a unique experience. Not only about the final result, but also about the creative process, from the first drawing to the last musical chord.

Although Sketches may sound like a complex and artistic affair, it's actually an easy-to-understand and engaging project for anyone who loves music, fashion and art. This show is an invitation to look behind the scenes of fashion and music and see how these two creative processes can come together in one unique experience.
