Nowadays many company understand that from organization perspective project management is not enough. Changes complexity increase and need of company resource usage effectiveness push us to implementation of program and portfolio management practices. The key success factor is adaptation of global standards and good practice to company needs and maturity level.  During this presentation you will see case study how program and portfolio were implemented and that are the key lesson learned from different sectors (Finance, IT, Public, Construction, Energy). 

Lecture will also address future ideas and plans of developing standard and global practices. During presentation you will see also PMI® certification in program and portfolio area and what requirements candidates must meet to apply for certificate.

Expert in project management, project portfolio and PMO. He specializes in the area of ​​organization improvement through the implementation of project portfolio management and PMO and in the area of ​​project managers development.

Since 2003, he has been associated with PMI®, where he held, inter alia, the function of the President of the Poland Chapter. Since 2010 he is working with the PMI® headquater in the USA. Currently he works in the Certification Governance Council (CGC). 

Since 2010, President of the WHITECOM Project Experience company specializing in training, setting up PMO as well as project and project portfolio management.

Co-author of the book „PMO. Project management and project portfolio management practice in an organization”.
