Morning SUP tour in Neris 08-16 | goSUP Vilnius
Start your day with SUP, lets paddle on Neris River! Let's go down the river while enjoying the city view.
The tour starts at Žirmūnai beach. Later nature views and birds' twittering are replaced by city views and architectural masterpieces of various periods: Peter and Paul Church, Gediminas Castle Tower, Raduškevičius Palace, National Opera, and Ballet Theater, St. Church of the Apostles Philip and James, modern skyscrapers and others. This is a great opportunity to admire Vilnius in the morning for both citizens and guests.
TIME. We start at 6:30 and begin with the instruction that will give you all the information you need: how to get on a paddle board correctly, how to paddle, how to behave in case you fall, and other important rules on the water. The briefing takes about 15 minutes, then you will paddle. Total paddling time: 1-1:30 hours (depending on speed and weather conditions).
LOCATION. We meet at Žirmūnai Beach (Coordinates 54.723521, 25.310847, map link https://goo.gl/maps/5pz4kakwZaR2), and we paddle up to the White Bridge. We recommend leaving the car near the White Bridge and coming to Žirmūnai Beach by taxi or public transport.
CLOTHING. Get dressed in loose, athletic clothing that will not immobilize movements and comfortable footwear. Choose the weather-friendly outfit - if the forecasts promise a cooler morning, dress up warmer. In case of falling down, take another set of clothes in the car. Important items: phones, car keys, etc. - you can leave them in our car while you paddle.
PRICE. The morning paddle tour price is 17 EUR per person (price includes: instruction and all necessary equipment). It is possible to purchase a multi-tours ticket. Larger groups apply a discount. For prices and discounts on subscriptions, contact us by email. by email: info@gosup.lt
In case of very adverse weather conditions (storms, thunderstorms, or other dangerous natural phenomena) that may pose a risk to the participants of the event, the tour may not take place at the scheduled time and may be rescheduled to another date by mutual agreement. In this case, the tour participants will be informed in person by phone at the time of ticket purchase.
THE PARTICIPANTS. Persons 13 and older can participate in the tour accompanied by adults. Bear in mind, that the accompanying instructor does not paddle during the morning tour. If you are unsure of your ability to paddle on your own, we invite you to come to SUP lessons first (more info: www.gosup.lt).
It is prohibited to take a tour for persons under the influence of alcohol or other substances. The organizers have a right not to give the service to drunk people and not to refund the ticket paid.
If the event occurs but the customer does not arrive at the event and does not contact the administration on the ticket due to his/her failure to arrive in advance, the money paid for the ticket will not be refunded. The ticket purchased is valid for a specific event only.
