Goa Trance music is very different from the usual psychedelic music like ''full on'' or ''forest''. This style is characterised by harmonious melodies and acidic and deep lead sounds. It could be said that this style is the root of all psychedelic trance. Experience tells us that pure Goa Trance music nights are truly special, enchanting, very wild and cosy.
This style of music originated in the late 1980s in the Goa region of India.
The aim was to help dancers experience a collective state of transcendence of the body, similar to ancient shamanic dance rituals, through hypnotism, pulsation, melodies and rhythm.
