Evening Urban SUP tour in Vilnius 08-03
After a busy workday, lets paddle on Neris River! Let's go down the river while enjoying the city view.
The tour starts at Žirmūnai beach. Later nature view and birds' twittering are replaced by city views and architectural masterpieces of various periods: Peter and Paul Church, Gediminas Castle Tower, Raduškevičiai Palace, National Opera and Ballet Theater, St. Church of the Apostles Philip and James, modern skyscrapers and others.
This is a great opportunity to admire Vilnius in the evening for both citizens and guests.
TIME. We start at 18:00 and begin with the instruction that will give you all the information you need: how to get on a paddle board correctly, how to paddle, how to behave in case you fall, and other important rules on the water. The briefing takes about 15 minutes, then you will paddle. Total paddling time: 1-1:30 hours (depending on speed and weather conditions).
LOCATION. We meet at Žirmūnai Beach (Coordinates 54.723521, 25.310847, map link https://goo.gl/maps/5pz4kakwZaR2), we paddle up to the White Bridge. We recommend leaving the car near the White Bridge and coming to Žirmūnai Beach by taxi or public transport.
CLOTHING. Get dressed in loose, athletic clothing that will not immobilize movements, comfortable footwear. Choose the weather-friendly outfit - if the forecasts promise a cooler evening, dress up warmer. In case of falling down, take another set of clothes in the car. Important items: phones, car keys, etc. - you can leave in our car while you paddle.
PRICE. Evening paddle tour price is 15 EUR per person (price includes: instruction, all necessary equipment). It is possible to purchase a multi tours ticket. For larger groups a discount might be applicable. For prices and discounts on subscriptions, contact us by email. by email: info@gosup.lt
In case of very adverse weather conditions (storms, thunderstorms or other dangerous natural phenomena) that may pose a risk to the participants of the event, night tour may not take place at the scheduled time and may be rescheduled to another date by mutual agreement. In this case, the tour participants will be informed in person by phone at the time of ticket purchase.
THE PARTICIPANTS. Tour is available for children from 13 years accompanied by adults. Bear in mind, the accompanying instructor does not paddle during the evening tours, the participants paddle on their own. If you are in doubt about your ability to paddle on your own, we recommend taking paddle lessons before joining the night tour (more info: www.gosup.lt).
It is prohibited to take a tour for persons under the influence of alcohol or other substances. The organizers have a right not to give the service to drunk people and not to refund the ticket paid.
If the event occurs but the customer does not arrive to the event and does not contact the administration on the ticket due to his/her failure to arrive in advance, the money paid for the ticket will not be refunded. The ticket purchased is valid for a specific event only.
