Incisio Prima invites you to a renewed Intermediate-level workshop in Vilnius, Faculty of Medicine:

🟠 December 2nd 11:00-14:30 (1st session in English), 15:30-19:00 (2nd session in Lithuanian). Lithuanian students are welcome in the 1st session as well if the 2nd session time is not convenient. M. K. Čiurlionio g. 21, 144 auditorium.

🟠 If you would like to participate, please purchase a ticket for the preferred session time and language. The workshop will take 3,5 hours. Tickets are limited. There are no requirements for the year of the course or study program. The number of participants is limited. With SUTURA10 code first tickets are 10% off! 🔸Sutures will be practised on a silicone imitation resembling real skin. Tendon reconstruction will be practised on silicone tendon imitation.

🔸The workshop will held by a plastic and reconstructive surgery resident doctor.

🔸Participants will receive a certificate of attendance and a handout with the information given during the workshop.

After a short recap of the basics, you will learn: 

🔸How to put on sterile surgical gloves properly

You will learn upper-level sutures: 

🔸Tip-Stitch Suture

🔸Interlocking Suture 

🔸Intracutaneous Suture 

🔸 Penrose drain fixation

You will perform a reconstruction of a tendon:

🔸Flexor - Kessler's technique

🔸Extensor - Figure-of-Eight Suture

You will learn how to tie a surgical knot with your hands:

🔸One-handed technique

🔸Two-handed technique

All participants receive:

🔸A certificate of attendance

🔸A handout:

• Short recap of the workshop
• How to perform surgical hand scrub
• How to properly put on a surgical gown and gloves
• 9 advices before entering the operating room
