Change Bootcamp for Project Managers: From Resistance to Mission
Change is one of the most complex challenges project managers faces, especially when resistance, uncertainty, and conflicting interests come into play. This offline Change Bootcamp is designed as an interactive experience where participants won’t just talk about change, but actively practice leading it.
Led by Yuliya Zhevno, PMI Region Mentor for Eastern Europe & Central Asia, this session combines a short theoretical foundation with a hands-on role-playing simulation. Participants will step into a realistic transformation scenario and work through resistance, behaviors, and decision-making in real time.
What to expect:
A focused theoretical introduction to the concept of a Change Mission
An interactive role-playing game, using a simulated bank transformation
Assigned roles and resistance scenarios to reflect real organizational dynamics
Open participation and improvised decision-making during the session
Simulation objectives:
Define and align on a company transformation mission
Discuss and shape a change roadmap
Practice identifying and managing resistance during live discussion
This bootcamp is ideal for project managers who want to strengthen their change leadership skills through experience, not theory alone.
