LVOD Conference | NEW HORIZONS IN PAEDIATRIC DENTISTRY
Join us for the 47th Lithuanian Society of Paediatric Dentists (LVOD) conference, titled "New Horizons in Paediatric Dentistry," to be held in Kaunas on September 23-24, 2023.
CONFERENCE | SEPTEMBER 23
During the theoretical sessions, participants will have the opportunity to delve into various topics, including the use of CBCT for diagnosing oral diseases in children and adolescents, effective strategies for treating paediatric patients with dental anxiety and selecting appropriate sedation methods, the etiology, differential diagnosis, and treatment of molar incisor hypomineralization, digital methods for diagnosing dental caries, successful endodontic and restorative treatment of primary dentition, as well as minimally invasive caries treatment methods. The conference will also place a strong emphasis on the digitalization of paediatric dentistry.
Each conference participant will receive a certificate accrediting 9 academic hours upon completion.

HANDS-ON COURSES | SEPTEMBER 24
Our practical course, limited to just 30 participants, offers hands-on training in two areas:
Part 1 | Pulpotomy and Pulpectomy for Primary Teeth
Part 2 | Crowns for Anterior and Posterior Primary Teeth
Morning Group | 09:00-13:00 (15 places)
Afternoon Group | 14:00-18:00 (15 places)
Led by the esteemed paediatric dentist, Dr. Tatyana Peshko, who brings over 15 years of clinical experience, this practical course promises invaluable learning opportunities. Throughout the course, Dr. Peshko will present detailed protocols for each procedure, conduct live demonstrations, and provide personalized guidance to every participant.
During the course, attendees will gain hands-on experience by performing the following procedures on primary teeth models: conduct pulpotomy and pulpectomy procedures, practice the preparation of standard zirconia crowns and standard stainless steel crowns.
Upon successful completion of the hands-on course, the participants will be awarded a certificate recognizing 5 accredited academic hours.
