Austrian Klemens Marktl (Joe Locke, Seamus Blake) is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished European drummers of his generation and this new chordless quartet sees him collaborate with Blue Note artist Logan Richardson (USA) on alto saxophone, Ronnie Scott's saxophonist Alex Garnett (UK, Rolling Stones) and bassist Michael Janisch (USA, Joe Lovano, Kurt Rosenwinkel), featuring his original music written specifically for this project which will be recorded during the tour for a future release on Whirlwind Recordings.
