Viral Mind is an instrumental ensemble, formed in Riga, Latvia in mid-2021 blending progressive jazz, rock, Latin, electronica, and other influences to create a unique and unpredictable sound.

Breaking boundaries, one genre at a time

Viral Mind's music breaks away from the ordinary by incorporating a diverse range of genres, achieving an organic sound that is extremely captivating and hypnotising during live shows. Their instrumental storytelling allows listeners to create their own unique narratives within the music and get lost in their own created worlds for the entirety of the show.

Born from improvisation

The band's story began in mid-2021 when the base player, guitarist and drummer met during a jam session at a local music venue. This jam session sparked a creative fire, leading to the formation of Viral Mind. The band's evolution continued with the addition of keyboards, bringing a psychedelic, experimental, and cosmic feel to their sound. In early summer 2023 the ensemble was finalised by an addition of trumpet and saxophone, infusing the sound with jazz and soul influences.
